It's like Zoe's been reset to an earlier incarnation. Think of it... she's acting nothing like she'd been while dating Leo or the others, she looks shorter, she appears like an earlier drawing of her... Zoe's been reset! *grin*
Though it could also be that Zoe's NOT dating Leo... after their breakup, she might have just started acting normal again instead of struggling to be the type of girl Leo wanted.
Or maybe it's that the others are pulling their weight financially now... she was freaking out about being the sole breadwinner of the household. *wry smile*
Around Torg and Riff, she can be herself. She can relax. She can have fun. Around Leo, around others... she's struggling to be what other people view her to be. Her mother. Cleo. Her professors. And so on. Riff, Torg, and Gwynn even have accepted her for herself.
As to what's happened to Christmas... well, tomorrow we'll have reactions and accusations, Thursday a search no doubt, and Friday the full-color ending in which Riff and Gwynn find themselves hanging over a vat of bubbling eggnog, tied together with holly and mistletoe as they're slowly lowered in by DemonKiki... *shiftyeyes* okay okay so I'm being silly here.
