Dude, don't mix your songs, it'll give you a worse hangover. And it's "a beer... iiin a tree" if you're mixing with the Bob and Doug Mackenzie version. I'd quote it at you, but it doesn't quote too well. And I can't find a page with just the lyrics.

Actually, I was mixing the songs on purpose. And in the Bob and Doug version, they don't say "in a tree" until the fifth or six time. At first it's just, "And a beer!" This I know.

Torg...Alt-Zoë would never have stopped you from going into the dining room. How about that?

For the education and edification of all, I present the lyrics of Bob and Doug McKenzie's Twelve Days of Christmas.

I like Zoë's expression in panel 2. :zoe:

Cute. For some reason, Zoe's expression in the fourth and fifth panels reminds me of the early days when she first started hanging out with the Sluggy gang.

Oh, Zoe has been manipulative before:

I stand corrected! Too bad on that strip you mention Zoe doesn't have to make up or improve the lie without thinking first. Or that Bun-Bun didn't seek revenge on Zoe for lying. DOH!

The Pish-Posh civilized strip is funny on re-re-read. If only for the mental image I have of Torg doing the non-rice cake binge. (-;

Rated 6 of 7 poings (somebody wanted some Kaboom-Oasis-Psykosis-Non Voyels-carchase-BunBun-Kiki on sugar-EMP-politically incorrect at the edge of your seat action to counter the Xmas mood she finds boring. That or Zoe using a kiss to delay Torg. Is that not so, mom?)

P.S.: having the colorist only for Xmas decorations make them stand out more. Reminds me of Schindler's list girl in red.

Good strip! I don't know what's funnier: Thinking of Torg binging in the fridge or trying to figure out what the 'parlor game' was like. Heh.

you don't have a computer at home?

How evil :kzk:

Don't have a computer where I'm going for Christmas. Yes, it is rather nice, isn't it?

yes it's a black flannel.

is it just me, or does zoe look different than alt zoe?

i mean, it looks like pete purposely draws them differently.

Yeah, panel 5 zoe looks... earlier. As in, the same style as she was drawn a few years back. Odd.

I'd say that's not black flannel, but just a jumper or something. And when I think of chicken bones in the chandelier, I remember the seafood dinner at Nags Head, North Carolina.

ot, but is this the shortest reaction thread since TRWII began?

I noticed that Zoë seemed shorter than she used to. Compare her in today's strip to her from the Storm Breaker Saga here (and here, though it isn't a good comparison). It looks like she lost two or three inches. I think Pete is still recovering from drawing Alt-Zoë.

Also, I'd just like to say that I like Gwynn's…um…shirt, in panel 1. I only hope Pete doesn't go overboard with her.

I am not seeing Zoe being any shorter. She seems about an inch shorter than Torg in The Storm Breaker Saga, and she seems about an inch shorter now. Am I missing something?
