Just think of the boomerang throwing contests you could win with a book like that! Seriously, why is Gwynn still messing with that book?

::sigh:: poor Gwynn. But that's what you get for messing around with E-ville. They just throw the book at you . (Sorry, couldn't resist.) Now, what I want to know is why doesn't... ::looks around:: I have to go now. ::goes to spec::

Good to see that Torg is starting to open up even the tiniest bit. And here's to Book-of-E-Ville-arangs (chuckle, snort, chuckle), 'cause Gwynn's had it coming.

Oh, Gwynn can be selfish, but I think by now it's clear she didn't mean to cast a spell on people. She spent most of the day annoyed at the effect. So I don't really think she had this coming, especially since it looks like she had already tried to throw the book out and been struck by it before.

*WAP* definitely belongs in the cool sound effects list. Not a *THUNK* or a *THUD*, but the distinct sound of ancient leather hitting cranium. And
owie indeed...that book hit spine first.
Oh, and now we know that Torg was gone for half a year (from his perspective). Not sure if it was the same timespan for the gang though.

I can really understand Torg's outburst, and I'm glad he was able to break away from the spell and return to a more realistic character. Both from the story point of view and a narrative view. I'm feeling that this will set up a lot for the future, and that Torg may be forced into telling someone more about alt-Gwynn and even his DoL adventures.
However, I don't think I like the idea of a Christmas Eve hangove- Cliffhanger.

Nice Pete, I like how Gwynn knows it's a bad idea.

Poor Gwynn... so the first time she used the book it was her fault, but ever since then it's just been tormenting her and bringing nothing but pain. How many years now has it been?
Evil sucks. Poor Gwynn. But Pete is such a great writer... I can't pull myself away from this story!

Really diggin' on Torg in this strip. The first time we've seen the real him since TWR.
And poor Gwynn; will that crazy kid ever break her ties with E-ville? It's good to see some Torg/Gwynn interaction again - those two had gotten quite close before TWR.

Fourth Panel: I thought Gwynn had suddenly become french. oO. Then I relised it was simply the ice pack.
Loving the dual windows.
