Today's comic (Mar 24):
parlay - to bet or gamble your winnings on a subsequent event
parley - to hold an informal conference with an enemy under a truce, as between active hostilities
Presumably Riff intends to parley. However, this is likely a reference to Pirates of the Caribbean, which
seems to pronounce the word differently (French pronunciation?) than dictionary.com seems to indicate.
Perhaps an older spelling, parlai or the french parlez.

Do typos in the Stan McKurt comic count? If so then on the opening page of act one you have the line "one person in this town who want to open the gates to the city..." (Man finding the link to the right comic when you're using weekly mode is a pain... here we go) -------------------------- Panel 3 There's a random Apostrophe in Riff's dialogue.
