Oasis' artistic side shows again here - she can really draw when she wants to.

I gotta say that even though she's trying to overcome her weaknesses, her method of self-therpay is still pretty damn creepy.

Personally I miss the way Oasis used to look before. I don't really like this new "realistic" style.

This comic really makes me feel for Oasis and her struggle to come to terms with who she is and what she feels. I see the fact that she is able to recognize the detrimental effects of her feelings for Torg to be a sign of a huge leap of progress in that regard. (It can also be considered a bit of social commentary on how some people find it easier to hate than to love, but I digress...) Anyway, very well written Pete. I enjoyed this one.

I also liked Oasis filling in Katie's dialogue. Very cute. :)

The heck? What exactly qualifies as "sharp and pointy jagged food"? Does she have a box of Krusty-Os in that cave?

First aid scalpels - I guess that, and of course Sharp and Pointy Jagged Food is what every self-respecting survivalist should have. I think I'll buy myself survival set today, you know, just in case.

I do have this over-powering urge to yell through the computer to her so that she knows she NEEDS to leave the cave so she can save Katie, Kareen and Feng though.

How can she be participating in mediation if she's all by herself? Doesn't mediation require three parties, two arguing and one to mediate? Are the voices in her head mediating? ;)

Yeah, I just got to catch up on a week's worth of comic joy! Very good and exciting stuff.

Wow, this whole time I thought Oasis knew they had Katie and was on her way to rescue her. The Hereti folks thought that too. I'm definitely enjoying the storyline so far. Looks like a few more twists are in store for us.

Oasis, of course, would probably favor the can opener.

Uh, wow. Really not a fan of Oasis's "new look". I'd hoped it was simply Pete slipping up a bit in that panel in the last comic, but apparently it's on purpose. It's like the style is trying so hard to be 'realistic' but she ends up looking all cartoony and goofy... Yuck. Although it could be some kind of 'uncanny valley' thing going on, I guess.

Still, if I mentally replace the old oasis in the panels, the strip itself is pretty good... can't wait to see her spring into action.

So ... Doritos?

They make excellent throwing stars, y'know.

Honestly I was never really that fond of Oasis's original hair style. I like this much better, actually.
