Poor Kiki! She took it pretty hard when Bun-Bun disappeared too.

Move the poop over Bub-Bun because the next holiday just dropped. Every March 17th the Kiki fairy comes to visit all the boys and girls and give them judgy cards. Kinda like how Santa judges you, but Kiki leaves her gifts behind the couch.

One thing that bugged me when I was reading the archive was how it felt, at least to me, like nobody (aside from Sam) really liked Kiki. Sure, they took care of her, and they were genuinely distressed when they left her behind in Italy, but for the most part they seemed to treat her more like a liability or a nuisance than someone they want to have around. At most she's sometimes a useful asset, like when they put the wings on her to assist in a mission. That's all to say I'm really enjoying seeing Zoë looking out for her like this.
I also like the detail that Zoë is wearing a seatbelt and Gwynn isn't bothering. Not like she needs it, probably.

It's so heartening that Zoe is noticing and taking care of Kiki. As Pheehelm said, we don't see that care overtly demonstrated enough

I know he accepted responsibility for her after Sam got vamped and ( usually) takes care of her needs, but aside from Bun-bun I think he was usually the one most openly exasperated with her antics. I suppose it wouldn't be out of character for Riff to falter at showing how much he cares for someone, so there's that.

I'm just glad Pete's doing much better than anticipated.
