We know that the Nerd and the Rabbit are drinking margaritas, but will we see what the Book and the Storm are doing? Or is Tuesday going to be something completely different? Be sure to bring your eyeballs to find out. ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote for what god the gang should piss off next.

Torg is cheating! Of course if you bring the supernatural in it you can find things that can't be bought by money, as they can only buy ordinary things. But Bun-Bun still found a good point to make.

Aw, some down time with the dudes -- minus Riff :(
FWIW, I've contended for a long time that money can't buy joy, but it CAN buy happiness. In fact, I volunteer myself as a test subject to prove it out.

Remember, folks: “money can’t buy you happiness” is what the rich taught you after they took +99% of the pie for themselves. Don’t fight over tablescraps! Be kind to one another!
I’d be happier if I was on the beach writing this instead of doing it at work. I guarantee that!

Are we sure Bun-Bun/Slughy was the Mokhadun god of punching, and not the god of avarice?
It's good to see the crew interacting without a world-ending problem sitting on them.

Wait, Bunbun has had those diamonds since 2021? Wow, time flies. He's either been super busy or having a real hard time getting market value for those diamonds.

I can't say I follow Bun-Bun's reasoning on how an army of chumps would get the monsters and demons to leave Torg and Zoë alone.

He’s saying Torg and crew are just regular people (“chumps”) fighting demons and monsters, so even if they just hired other regular people to do the monster-fighting for them, their odds of success or failure wouldn’t get worse…

It doesn't come up super often, but Torg and Bun-bun's friendship is really interesting.
Though I'm sure Bun-bun would rather beat the entire cast into paste before ever admitting it's a friendship.

As long as you have enough meat-shields between you and the monsters, they will never reach you. Well, aside from the fact that one of the demon's raison d'etre is killing all the meat-shields. And then raising them and making them into his own meat shields if he has the time for that.

This is a nice breather and moment of collaboration. Bun-bun's reaction there in the last panel is great!

They've been through a lot. And they're interesting. Perhaps he was God of Naps because ancient Mohkadun bored the crap out of him. What good is the (comedic) straight man or grumpy reactionary tropes if there's nothing to react to? I've said it many times. Bunbun is basically a grumpy old man.

He's certainly the oldest in our group by a fair margin. :D
