Thursday wants to see a sitcom of Froggy the Wart and the Lady of Paper. They have loads of high jinks in a swamp. One loves splashing about, while the other is always trying to not get one speck of moisture on her. They act as if they despise each other, but they are inseparable with their love for murdering things. ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote to get the frog out of your throat.

I can't tell if the receptionist lady is a really old human, or one of those cat people dimensional alien things that Gween sold her soul to when Zoe got a beard and then Aylee made the living room get covered in blood.
I hope the accent she has is French. Frog got all mad about the "racist" joke that all French people all frogs from oh so long ago.

I am not entirely sure of the point made in the 5th and 6th panel. What does Madame Grenouille always showing the truth has to do with asking Gwynn to look into the glass herself?
And how asking Gwynn to look into the glass leads to her telling she can do it at her own leisure? How does taking your time consist as a rebuttal to the query as to why Gwynn doesn't look in the glass herself?
Update: Never mind, figured it out. I was just missreading.

Also I suspect she wants to do more than just look. It feels like she needs it as a component that's required for a door or to help in the making of a door.

yeahhhh, I wouldn’t want to give up my crystal ball as a fortune teller/seer quite so easily!
Anything I say beyond that is definitely spec.

Mrs. Frog and Mrs. Mushroom. Okay. :-)
Did you all notice Gwynn's change of clothes in the third panel?

So... why on earth does Gwynn think it's a good idea to give this thing out to another relatively unknown magical party? Surely she has something else in mind.
All else is spec.

All else is spec. She's trying to rescue Riff. The ends justify the means, I guess....unless she has a longer, unspoken damage control plan.

Something about the eyes and smile in Madame Grenouille's closeup in the last panel reminds me of the tilt-head grinners.
That is all.

She's taking the crystal ball one way or the other. As such, she can look at it any time she wants. Madame Grenouille can either "make a deal" and take the mirror, so that the exchange is peaceful, or... Any ending to that sentence would be spec, and I'm already on Zill's naughty list. Even if 99% of my spec is usually wildly wrong...

I like the effect of the shawl pattern making the sweeping cloths of the spell.

My confusion stem from reading "I can see" instead of "it can see", so I thought Gwynn was negotiating Madame Grenouille's service, not her crystal ball. Also when Gwynn said "I am taking it", I thought she meant she is taking her time, not the ball. Everything is making sense now and I am just stupid.

I get impatient to read it in the mornings so I often read it on my phone instead of a big monitor. Before coffee.
I’ve no doubt missed many a thing.

I feel like it would be good for Gwynn to reread the "That which redeem" chapter.
