Special guest appearances by Zombie Head on a Stick and the wretched Mr Stiks! It's a cross-over bonanza! All sticks be wary!

Somehow, knowing that the next book on the docket is Mokhadun makes it seem like we're almost caught up!

About that apology for an "extra short" comic... (7-4-24)Funny how your self-expectations (and probably ours) have evolved. I'm into my umpteenth archive dive right now and reading a comic that is longer than this "extra short" comic is still pretty rare - four years in. I'm just starting Fire & Rain, where you first consistently break through the 4-panel comic. Even then you return to the standard once F&R is done. You can stop apologizing for things that don't need an apology.

To supplement swmartian's reply... Pete, you are correct that the rhythm of the story made a stop there fitting. It's a perfect "weekend cliffhanger" and the promise of an "extra long" is just icing on the cake.

Congratulations Pete, on surviving another weird trip through the cosmos and managing not to land in an alternate dimension where everything is exactly the same except the Earth's rotation around the sun is slightly longer which would have delayed your birthday.
