Tuesday knows there's always room for another when you're having a party. It's always nice to have some spare people around. The party might get really wild and some of the attendees may try to "escape" the fun. --------- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Please remember to vote so we can get the party started!

Why is it that the forces of Evil throw the best, most banging parties? endplanets wrote: Zoe kicks in the door Zoe: This it the fun police! Everybody Down! And as the former RA for a freshmen dorm ... I feel you, Zoe, I feel you.

So that answers that question. Meander has no plan.....other than the gang shows up and does what they were going to do anyway, thus making her brush with danger irrelevant. Oh I guess "identify the ferryman" was her plan, but honestly she has no way to confirm that and pretty sure the old guy would stand out like a sore thumb regardless, so I don't see how she thinks this is even helpful. Or to put it more bluntly, she "identified" the ferryman the same way everyone else would "identify" him within moments of arrival. She's completely kidding herself if she thinks she's doing anything except putting herself in danger of being repossessed or killed and possibly alerting the ferryman of an external threat.

Before going in there was no guarantee the ferryman would be so easily identified. So maybe that was her thinking. And perhaps she thinks her will is strong enough to avoid repossession now. Sure it's a flimsy plan but I think she's looking to contribute anyway she can.

Granted, but my point is that she hasn't even done anything to confirm he's the ferryman. The only reason she was able to "identify" him at all is that an obvious candidate presented himself. So I'm sort of struggling to see what she thought she might do to help identify him if he weren't "so easily identified "

So...she really has no plan.
To me, it seems the old guy is a bit too conspicuous to be the Ferryman. Running the party/ritual seems more like something an underling would do. Once everything is in full swing, the main star will arrive.

How long was she possessed in Sluggy Time? She's not only a teenager, she's a heavily traumatized teenager who hasn't been in control of her own body or mind for years. Not expecting great strategic planning from her at this point. She's a kid desperate to do something/not to be excluded from the only group of people who have any idea of what she's been through.
It seems odd to me that Aylee bounced back to her happy-go-lucky self immediately upon being exorcised. Granted, she's an alien and she wasn't possessed for as long. But surely she has feelings about being forced to harm her friends?
