Bummer that Torg ain't chatty right now because we could have had another pun war (also the whole getting murdered thing).
Underhanded attack.
Limp-wristed defense.
Disarming shot.

Just noticed the mark on Torg's neck. That was a close call.

Yikes! That was a close one for Torg!

It's great to see Gwynn so determined and self-assured, whatever the consequences.

Just like Riff to bring everything to a head!

Well, Mr. Sticks needed a break.

Sometimes I wonder if we're punning before Pete gets the chance to use it in the next strip.

I hope we never make you rewrite the script for spoiling your punchlines! I'm sure most readers don't check the forum.

You know how puns go, Pete....if you can't share it immediately, you explode. :torg:

Just noticed, too! And then I had to go back and find out remind myself that Chaz was already powered up...
(and then noticed Pete's ref note from https://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?chapter=73#2022-05-02 indicating that he will share more info on how long Chaz can stay powered up.)

Riff sure thought so, after he 'saw' what Mr. Sticks was up to!
(Not my best, but just couldn't come up with a good pun using radius or ulna...)

I didn't notice that.
But Riff 'saw' it coming.
Riff showed up right in the neck of time.
Something something that was a close shave.
