Well, that's nice. Gwynn gets a way out, should worst come to worst. I hope that egg won't be misused.

Is Basphomy pretending to be some kind of Pez dispenser with those eggs?

Is there an echo there?
Anyway, there is a saying about not using the same trick twice. About this new alliance, I think it's appropriate to quote the 29th Maxim of Maximally Effective Mercenaries from Schlock Mercenary (not to confuse with the Sluggy Schlock): "The enemy of my enemy is my enemy's enemy. No more. No less."

something I hadn't noticed before and just did is that the eggs became part of Gwynn's hands, likely with the spell Basphomy just incanted.

Huh... have to say, I didn't expect someone to have to tell Dunuloa "Don't put all your eggs in one Bastet".

Hmmm, this is an unexpected development! Now that Basphomy has completed her task, though, what will she and her team do?
Now that this is worked out, they better go back in the other room and save Torg and Chaz.

It was a very good basket that stood up to tons of sand and survived a sizeable fall, but since she lost that basket she has to make do with a Bastet. I hope the gang still have the basket, and can figure out some of the spell eggs. I notice that the spells contain an upside-down 2 and a rhomb, which also occur in the spell that imprisons someone in a scroll or book, and the one that releases them. That pair of glyphs must have something to do with making a thing melt into another. And Thursday? Stop pretending to be Tuesday! You are the twelfth, not the tenth.

With gods like this, I’m beginning to understand why there’s a tangle GUIGUI wrote: Anyway, there is a saying about not using the same trick twice. I've always been partial to #1: Pillage, then burn.
But I think #70 is the best: Failure is not an option - it is mandatory. The option is whether or not to let failure be the last thing you do.

They're all great. Another great one is "an ordinance technician at a dead run outranks everybody." it's genuinely practical advice...assuming you live a life where you regularly cross paths with ordinance technicians
