I checked to see if Gwynn's anima was in the cloud, or Machio/Mustachio's. Didn't see them. So hopefully that means they are okay so far. And hopefully Frog will be okay because he is hidden in the hair-dryer thingy.
I am surprised Cupidine was so close to them, physically. An entire world, and she is right there near them?

I wonder if Kiki is still stuck to the sandwiches.

Based on what Torg said last page, they are probably all on the one and only flying city. The rest of the world sounded like a ruin. Still pretty big, but she can fly too it seems.

We don't know if Cupidine is unique or not. The odds of showing up near someone similar are impossible to gauge with what we know. We also have no idea what travel methods exist in this time period.

It would be strange if Cupidine is the only one in this world.

Cupidine HORRIFIES me. I may occasionally have nightmares about that. To harvest someone's souls like that...

I'm still shocked it isn't some angsty teenager in the chatroom. But then again, I guess everyone needs an origin story.....*fingers crossed

Nope, the houses are on a beach: http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2019-12-09

So unless the flying city comes with its own ocean ...

Torg didn't say "beach view". You can have an excellent view of the ocean from up in the air.

Imma say if you can build a floating city, you can probably make an ocean for it. Or fake it at least. You can also give me sentient pies with great comedic timing and I'll believe it at this point.

Look at the next day. They're right ON the beach, with waves lapping the sand maybe 100' away.

So unless the flying city comes with its own ocean, with waves, ...

You should have led with that. Fair point, though. Good catch.
