Aladdin Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, is issuing a new paperback edition of <a>"How the Fisherman Tricked the Genie,"</a> a critically acclaimed picture book by author Christopher "Kitoba" Sunami.
"Fisherman" was named a Notable Book by the International Reading Association in 2003 and nominated for the Georgia Children's Book Award in 2006. It received starred reviews in Publisher's Weekly and School Library Journal, on its way to selling nearly 10,000 copies and going through 3 printings in hardback.
Signed copies of the original hardback edition are available directly from the author.

A while back some friends of mine and I made a horror film in six hours.
This is six hours from the idea of making a film to completion of the film.
One of my friends kept the tape with the promise of editing it. He lost the tape. Found the Tape. Edited the tape. And years later uploaded it to You Tube.
For the first time in a good many years I can watch it.
The film is not great but it does amuse me.
(The film is called Disgruntled Dj just in case you wanted to know)

thanks dear. :P
Woohoo two accomplishments in a row!
I finally got around to create a new artsy/craftsy website for all my (generally unfinished) projects... Dabbled - http://dabbled.blogspot.com/
There's not a ton of content there yet (I did post halloween party food pics, and a few other things), but check it out, and if you have any suggestions or feedback, leave it for me there.

It's not exactly a concrete "hold it in your hands" sort of accomplishment...
But I just got picked up for a sponsored post-graduate degre, courtesy of the Canadian Forces. Two-year master's program followed by two years as a lecturer at RMC.
With full military pay.
Woo Hoo!
