After a second: "Necromancer?"

"You'd probably need a Thalesian," muses Zalasbra. "I doubt that a former King of Thalesia would talk with anyone else."

"I could probably talk with him," concedes Sir Ulath (who is Thalesian by nationality). "But I never learned necromancy."

"I know the theory," continues Zalasbra. "But I don't really have the upper-body strength; and besides, a Thalesian King isn't going to respond well to a Styric."

"Let's file that under Plan Z," Felix says. "Besides, if the Thalesian king knew where the Blue Rose was then the Cimmuran king may well have been able to tell us when his shade came back and told us to seek it out."

Arkady comments: "Ah, yes. We will need to be finding Lady Sephrenia before we go." If she's done piping down the fire, he asks "Piper, would you be knowing where she is?"

"Why would the Thalesian king have thought to tell any other Kings where his crown jewels were?" asks Zalasbra.

"She'll meet us at the lake," says Piper, smugly. And yes, her rain seems to be done... the ground isn't even wet. But the fire seems to be out.

Arkady gives Piper a hug. "What a happy coincidence. And the fire flowers may be blooming here in a while; perhaps we can be finding some if we are nearby then. But first we must return to the ship, and I think one of us will have to be making more sealant before we go."

Felix grunts noncommittally and gets ready to head out.

So, you head on back to the Ship, in the company of Zalasbra.

Zalasbra has ten million questions about exactly how the trucks work; one might get the impression that he's asking them in order to make sure that no-one has a chance to ask him anything.

Unless there's something that someone particularly wants to do en route, there are no further interruptions the rest of the way back to the Ship.

After a while Arkady asks Sir Ulath: "Why would you need upper body strength for Necromancy?"

"You need to wrestle the ghost back to the world of the living," says Sir Ulath.

Arkady nods. "I see. Thank you." And with that, he drops the subject.

Roger goes straight to a terminal and gets to work investigating Blackwell's records.

Tag It Takes One to Know One (Roger also falsified records to get on the ship so he knows how this thing goes generally) and tag The Right Questions. Roger will also take time to make sure all his ts are crossed and is dotted as far as his records are concerned.

The Ship now has a simple palisade fence around the areas of farmland that are being put to intense use in the growing of food. One glance at your group, and the gates are opened; David turns up pretty promptly, and shows Felix (and anyone else who wants to see) where the submarine is. He asks if there's any further news you'd like to share.

Roger heads off to the nearest terminal and looks over the records of the person who Felix identified as Nicholas Blackwell. His records clearly pass all of the automated checks, and are accepted as valid by the computer system; he has no criminal record but a series of minor traffic fines (generally for running a red light - closer inspection shows that it's always the same red light). He is not in the system under the name 'Nicholas Blackwell', though. As far as the purely automated checks are concerned, though, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the records of one Clark Kent.

Roger literally couldn't fail this check, so he can keep his FATE points

Felix suggests that it might soon be time to start putting together a medical team to head to Cimmura to curry favor with the local leader. Possibly as soon as the next time they come back to the colony.

He'll inspect the submarine for any repairs that need to be made and check if the adhesives are adequate for assembly later on.

He'll ask Piper when Sir Sparhawk and Lady Sephrenia can be expected to arrive at the lake and if they have enough time before heading that way he'd like to spend a bit of time helping the ship with repairs. He'll also inquire with David about local resources and progress of the colony. It seems odd that they're utilizing regular farm space when the hydroponics would be far more efficient.

Roger sends a picture of Mr. Kent to his tablet to show Felix.

"Is this the guy? All I could find is that he's here under an assumed name one Mr. Clark Kent. Well, that and he repeatedly ran a red light at the SAME signal but I think that's just to throw people off the scent that this person primarily exists on paper."
