Well, since things are getting a bit tight, Arkady takes the shot.

Damn, I thibk I forgot hot to math, Felix thinks, perhaps a bit groggier than usual. He doesn't remember there being two trolls...

It's almost over. Felix bites back on the rising bile threatening to vacate his stomach, picks a troll, and moves to send another spray of acid at Ghwerek.

Roger has little choice but to continue shooting, and praying.

As Ghwerek roars in pain from the tazer, Felix manages to fire a stream of acid right down his throat.
The Troll glares at Felix... and then collapses, even a Troll body pushed beyond breaking point (mainly by the acid)

Ghwerek unable to dodge

Roger's dart hits the troll as he goes down - not that this has any visible effect.

Sir Ulath starts at once on the grim business of separating the Troll's head from his neck - Ghwerek is helpless now, but Sir Ulath doubtless wants to ensure that he remains so.

Piper is still trapped in a blue sphere. She points down, at the Rose, where it rolled away from Ghwerek's grip.

Felix wobbles for a second or two. He sees Piper gesturing at the Blue Rose and gets partway through nodding before arresting the movement. Damn, but his bell is ringing...

He moves to touch the Rose so he can try to release Piper...

Arkady trots over and grabs the weaving Felix before he takes a header over the Rose. "Felix, you don't have both rings. It will kill you." He turns his head: "Theresa, please sit him down by the stream and clean him up. Cold compresses where he was hit will help keep down the swelling. Ask Sephrenia to do something about the concussion."

After Felix is led away, Arkady walks over to the Rose and looks down at it; then he turns to look at Sir Sparhawk. "I think it's your turn."

Theresa, like a good sidekick, gently leads Felix on over to the stream, making sure he doesn't touch the Rose.

Sparhawk nods, and is just reaching out for the Rose, when -

"Stop at once, dear."

Sir Sparhawk glances up, at where the Lady Sephrenia is approaching from the direction of the cars she'd been hiding in during the battle. "Little mother?" he asks.

"Take those gloves off before you touch the Rose," continues Sephrenia. "You want both rings to actually touch the Rose, leave it in absolutely no doubt that you are, in fact, wearing both."

"Right." Sir Sparhawk nods, and removes his chainmail gloves.

"And when you do take it up," continues Sephrenia, "I believe the correct phrasing would be 'Release the Child-Goddess Aphrael from the prison in which she was recently imprisoned."

Sir Sparhawk takes up the Rose, making sure, as warned, that both rings are touching it.

His eyes widen at once.

"The - the Troll-gods are still in here!"
