The skill levels go from top to bottom. Engineering 4 would be second from the top. It goes:
5 4, 4 3, 3, 3 2, 2, 2, 2 1, 1, 1, 1, 1
Also, yeah. If you're just doing it for protection I think the regular Endurance feats could suffice.

Well it could also be useful situationally. Like he could shift into a ball and roll down a mountain, say.

Alright, so I've been trying to reconcile a way to involve power a bit more deeply and I think it might be a good idea to switch to the Refresh system. If you don't know what that is, it's basically your max number of Fate points you go back up to whenever those would fill back up. The more Refresh you have, the more powerful your character is. Refresh can be spent, lowering your total amount, to acquire Stunts and Powers. The more Refresh you have, the more Stunts and Powers you can acquire. The more Stunts and Powers you acquire the less Fate points you have available to you to spend.
It could be a great way to mark character progression. The more Refresh you have, the more of yourself you remember.
Sorry for bringing this in so late, I'm basically developing the game as I go.

Refresh would be a measure of how much you remember of yourself, so something like that. I figure start with three Refresh. By five you've remembered a sizable portion of your skills and a couple of Aspects. By ten your memories are probably back most of the way.

Most stunts will cost one refresh. The powers will vary. Small powers will only cost one refresh. Better powers can cost two or more. I'll have to look at the PDF when I get home to say exactly how much. If there's anything in particular you want let me know and I'll say how much it or something similar could cost.

Okay. I'm looking over the PDF now. Attribute enhancing abilities like Speed, Strength, Toughness, and Recovery start at -2 Refresh and go all the way up to -6. Dodger might be interested in Inhuman Toughness (the first toughness level). Already worked out a power with Weremensh, his character has Darkness Vision which costs -1 Refresh.
I'm not sure what sort of Power your character would want, CCC. There's a -1 power that helps you be more stealthy in darkness. A -1 power that gives you claws (+1 weapon when using fists) a -1 power that gives you wings.
Let me know if any of you are interested in something along these lines and I'll let you know if there's something you can take.
