I think I won't charge Roger a FATE point for the sedative rifle. Mind you, Ghwerek's still not going to be easy to hit - he knows better than to let anyone point stuff at him...

Someone put Leia's theme on to distract the beast. XD Actually, it might be worth it to spend the FATE Point that it just comes on since no one is minding the playlist. oh no wait I already wasted my free tag so I'll have to burn the fate point right when I stab it into his foot.

You could simply tell Arkady to play it; he's holding the player. Though it's the main theme that Ghwerek is humming.

Can I fate point and say he really is like a D&D troll and acid attacks work?
Or is that too much?

I just realised that I forgot to have Sir Ulath answer Felix's question in the thread!
Let me add that. He is a veteran, after all.

Or is that too much? I think that that might be too much for a FATE point on its own. It is not, however, too much for a FATE point backed by the Theory In Practice stunt, as long as it is accompanied by suitable technobabble. Which is a stunt which Roger has. Along with plenty of FATE points.

Under the circumstances, it'd be closer to say that Felix waters.

Well it's gonna burn like fire.
Honestly this is probably the second cruelest thing I've tried to do in this entire campaign.

So, just to be completely, absolutely clear - is Roger spending the FATE point on this?
(Roger would also need to roll high enough on his Science skill, but honestly, Roger should be able to make that roll)

I added a theory in practice tag to my last IG post.

Your technobabble is severely lacking.
Still works, because a +8 Science roll gets past a lot. Acid wounds won't regenerate.
Also, for obvious reasons, Felix is now Ghwerek's primary target.

Yeah, I skated by on my Science stat, I fully admit.
=P
ETA: To be fair, I thought I just needed to provide a source for the acid, not a reason why acid would be effective vs. trolls. I can retcon some better technobabble if you like.

Yeah, the source of the acid was never in question. I was looking for a reason why it would be effective.
Theory In Practice should, technically, be a stunt that's powered by technobabble. And the question that the technobabble should always answer is why it would be effective. (If you can somehow technobabble it as something you can do by hacking, you also get to claim your Scientific Genius bonus on the roll)
