The problem is that the kid is the regent because he's the crown prince. I doubt it's a gig he can casually hand off to someone else if he's not actually incapacitated.

The regent is the ruler who leads in place of the actual ruler when that ruler is unable to do so themselves, whether it be because they're too young or because they're incapacitated by sickness.
The queen I believe has been effectively written off as dead until such time as she can actually be cured, making Lycheas the rightful ruler. He's just a kid, though, so the regent is the person who rules in his stead. That would have more or less been Raven.
So when I say we put in a regent to see to things, I'm meaning we have our own person basically looking after Lycheas behind a wall of guards and a whole mess of vehicles keeping the group as a whole away from Raven's ilk.

Sorry about the lack of posting and general befuddlement. Felt like someone took a sledgehammer to my skull for a few days there. Could barely form a coherent thought process at all.

That sounds unpleasant. Migraines or something you picked up?

Migraines. Been having them off and on for months now but lately they've been getting worse.

Roger's not good with Politics, so whatever Arkady and Felix decide will to do will be fine with him.

Delivering a radio to Sir Sparhawk and telling him how to work it will all happen off-screen.

Where is castle Stokes in reference to the trip home? En route, out of the way, or on the other side of the colony?

Castle Stokes is pretty far out of the way, but not so far as to be considered the other end of the country. The only place that's really on the way back to the ship is the Elene capital, and that's mainly because it's right on the closest major road to where the Ship is.

Alright. Since it looks like we're heading to the ship do you mind if I spend that fate point to declare the aspect I mentioned a while back?
Actually I'd been thinking about the idea for a while and since it involves various sections of the ship I think I could spin it into two points and aspects that would be neat.

Roger is A-OK with returning to the ship by the way. He's got his camera script to check on. He doesn't know it yet, but he's about to be very upset with Piper...
I suppose we're just waiting on CCC to start a new thread?

What's Roger gonna be upset with Piper about?
Also can Felix get Roger's help on a little personal project? I want to get some handheld gaming devices in working order and translate a bunch of games. A couple of old school games with minimal language like Tetris and Pacman and a slightly more in depth storied adventure like maybe one of the Zelda games just to see how that goes.
I want to get a minimum of three devices up and running. One that I can give to Lycheas to try and curry favor. One to give to Talen to see what he thinks (and if he likes it try and play it off as a gift and patronage of children the way his boss described the elves being to see if that goes somewhere interesting). The third... well, the third would be for Piper. I've got an idea I want to do going that way. See if my assumptions are correct and see if that plays out.
