He's got a sidekick who might have gotten curious about just that subject, though. You never know.

When our mad bomber asked for locations of various guns in the ship; just how precise was the information requested? What room, or what shelf, or where on what shelf?

The last year and a half has been a doozy for everyone. Glad to see you again!
If you're gonna get back into the game, here's some of the main story highlights:
-We got Ortzel into the papacy successfully, but Martel and the Seeker got away.
-Raven was in custody and it looked like he was going to be excommunicated, but after that he was probably going to be released and continue to be a problem.
-We've narrowed down a possible location for an artifact called the Blue Rose, which supposedly will be vital in restoring the Queen to good health.
-Zalasbra received a vision of the future and used it to seek out a suitable Terran to teach magic to. That Terran turned out to be someone from Felix's past that murdered his entire family and whom Felix thought he'd killed in kind. He has something of a knack for making things all explodey.

Felix understands how she feels. If he wasn't running around the local nations putting out fires he'd be running around the ship fixing everything he could get his grubby little wrenches on.

Faewinds! Good to see you back!
Glad that you weren't completely buried under all the various lockdowns and restrictions. One thing I've learned from the last year and a half... be very, very careful about wishing for other people to live in interesting times.
Because interesting times are very... democratic. When they arrive, then everyone lives in them.

Hi Faewinds. Welcome back!!
For the record, I could be convinced to drop a fate point on the translator to get out the most glaring grammar oddities if you guys think it would be worth it...

Dodger77 wrote: For the record, I could be convinced to drop a fate point on the translator to get out the most glaring grammar oddities if you guys think it would be worth it... For the record, it won't make much of an appreciable difference. It's perfectly possible to understand the phrases that make it through the translator, in the same way as it's perfectly possible to understand Yoda; everyone just has to take things slowly, remember that there is a translator involved, and occasionally ask for clarification. (It does make it harder to persuade with flowery phrases, I guess.) weremensh wrote: When our mad bomber asked for locations of various guns in the ship; just how precise was the information requested? What room, or what shelf, or where on what shelf? Whoops, apologies. Somehow thought I'd answered this already. When you ask the computer for the location of something, then it will give the full location, right down to the number of the locker in question. For weaponry lockers, it does not give the code for the combination lock that secures the locker; but it will give the exact locker. The internal inventory system simply doesn't return less precise answers than that.

Just a quick side note. The war movie I was referencing was 1917, a film set in WW1. No helicopters, but there are a few biplanes.

Arkady's view of that movie would be to ask, as kindly as he could, what attack during WW I wasn't a suicidal advance against an enemy who pretty much always knew you were coming on the tactical level.
