Can I spend a fate point on Fortune Roulette and say they manage to get out of the way and only it roles to dodge?

Well this became annoying. Was hoping to simplify and speed up combat, but instead spent several days trying to hash out details for this one trick on this one turn.
Can I use it as a flamethrower instead? Instead of launching as a bomb it spews all the contents out in one big rush, freezing up the launcher attachment and everything in the path of the gust? That way I can just use it as a gun attack and not worry about catching the Knights up in splash damage?

You could use it as a - well, freezethrower, I guess. It'll even take several rounds of combat before it stops working.

Alright, so the new item will be a cryo bomb rigged up to be a cryo spewer instead of an explosion.
First modification to mount the bomb to my launcher and have it spew its contents forward instead of explode violently. Second modification to replace explosive damage with freeze damage.
I edited my post so that Felix is aiming a freezethrower instead of shooting a cryo bomb.

You seem to have mixed up Felix and Nathan in the first half of the post. Can I spend a fate point on Laser Focus to add +2 to my roll?

Gyah. Fixed.
Not sure how laser focus helps here - there's no distractions in the room to ignore - but you can tag a point on Fortune Roulette for a +2 if you like.

Made a teeensy mistake in the previous round. The fire extinguisher is the improvised weapon, the freezethrower is not.
Which means Felix hit without needing to use a FATE point (you'll get your point back, Kajin).

Poop. Now we have to get it out. I was hoping to avoid the kitchen table surgery.
Unless anyone has a vacuum cleaner handy?

Perhaps...
Arkady tags 'I've got to cast out Satan? God Help Me!' for a re-roll.
If that doesn't work, he can tag 'do it yourself' for plus two next round to (ahem) cast out the demon.

Don't see why you need to. You hit him for 4 stress and he had no way to defend against your exorcism, looks like.
Also, holy crap did that thing just invade Parasim's body? We should probably get that out of him.

If Arkady wins the contest by enough he may not get to hop into Parasim. If that doesn't work, next round we try to cast him out.

If that doesn't work, he can tag 'do it yourself' for plus two next round to (ahem) cast out the demon. The theoretical best you could do on a reroll is to inflict minor physical and mental consequences. This will not prevent the smoke cloud from jumping down Sir Parasim's throat (if anything, it'll be even more eager to try to find somewhere to hide from you). Given that, would you still like to take the reroll?
