If I recall correctly, the radio was in place for a couple of weeks, and we gained a fair idea of how his whole operation worked. More then enough to dismantle the organisation and convict a large number of people if courts were a thing here.

Not information we want to tip our hands to having, or how we got it. The Primate could accuse us of all manner of crime and have us murderized if he found out what the radios could do.
Better to feed their ego and their wallet, then use the information in secret to launch coordinated strikes against their operations in the future.

Courts are a thing. They just don't consider 'magic talking boxes' to be good sources of evidence. Oh, and the Primate has a disproportionate amount of influence on them.
Mind you, you could probably manage to get quite a few of the Crime Lord's flunkies arrested and charged, if you put a minimal amount of effort into it over several days.

Personally, I'd be inclined to leave the criminal syndicate intact for the time being. These are people who have lived a significant portion of their lives, if not all their lives, acting outside of society and the law. They know the lay of the land so to speak, and how to operate without arousing direct suspicion. The only thing keeping us out of the same boat is a very flimsy piece of paper. Having friends, or at least contacts, in low places could be very useful should we need to take action in secret or need to hide if the whole mess goes pear-shaped.

At any rate, do we want to go with my gambit of simply asking to buy a list of different poisons and seeing if they can acquire them for us?

May as well just ask straight out for darestim. I doubt they'll care one way or the other, so long as the money is good.

Too risky. If they're on the Primate's payroll and think that someone specifically asking for the poison he used to try and kill the Queen is information he might pay for, then we're as good as done for.
Besides, having a laundry list of poisons on hand to research and study could prove useful in the long run.

That's fair. You never know when you'll need a cure for some other incredibly rare uncurable poison.
Or we could cure cancer. You never know.

For that matter, you never know when you'll need a cure for a common, easily available poison. We could even pitch it as a matter of acquiring the rare ones after we visit the local apothecary, say it's at the request of our healers.
But so far as tipping our hand by asking for only one of them; I'd be dubious that the local underworld would know what poison was used on the Queen. Telling them would put way too many people in the loop, any one of whom might develop an unfortunate sense of patriotism.

I'm trying to push things along a bit. So, you've met your friendly little pickpocket again, and... his sleight-of-hand roll just flew right past everyone's alertness and past Felix' engineering roll.

I get the feeling we would have discussed the importance of not mentioning the ability to cure poisons before we left. It's general knowledge of our abilities we most certainly do not want being spread around all willy nilly.

Curing poisons with other poisons is a fairly well known trick, even among ancient herbalists, and besides, everyone knows that darestim has no cure. That's why we have to make one.

This boy is (a) a cynic and (b) not a herbalist. Someone comes with a list of poisons, he assumes you want to poison someone.

Was Roger able to see the actual usernames used or just that they had admin access? If he did see them was he able to make any sense of them? i.e. did they contain English or Elene words?
