Unsure if I overreacted or if David really is going to be this annoying to work with. Empathy roll to guess at some of his aspects? I think we've been talking long enough to do that.

If needed I'll pull rank on him with my "That's Classified" aspect.

I suppose I can do a Leadership roll to handle the construction of the water pump more effectively, if the Knights are working with us as a group?

You could, but frankly, for something this simple you won't even need to roll, it'll be done by the time you've finished your conversation, anyway.

I could have sworn I had this conversation before but looking over I couldn't find any instance of it... I dunno, I guess maybe Felix is overreacting or something?

I wasn't satisfied with my response so I edited what Felix said.

Sorry for triple post, but if Nathan is waiting for something to happen, he could maybe get started on a smokehouse to pass the time? I dunno, just a thought. His survival skill would be good for making that.

Where's Tom?
Did the Manticore get him?

Tom is curled up in a little ball, praying that the Manticore won't bother with him...

Ah, I thought he might have gotten eaten off screen while he was out scouting the swamp.
Random thought I had. Do we have the capability to launch satellites into orbit? If we came prepared with the means to do so it might be a good long term project if we pack up all the solar panels on the hull of the ship and in storage and launch them into orbit. There they'll have access to more concentrated amounts of solar energy twenty-four hours a day. Then have it beamed down via laser to a relay on the ship.

Dude. Maps. Imagine how much a proper, accurate topo map would fetch. Plus we'll probably be needing them anyway.

Maps would be much easier. All we'd need is to rig up a high altitude automated plane with onboard computer, camera equipment and solar panels to keep the thing running. Launch it and have it spend the next few weeks and months doing a lazy spiral away from the ship. Maybe rig up a couple more for more precise target searching.
A far cry simpler than launching a satellite into orbit. I think they're actually working on planes like this to provide high speed wireless internet to areas that landlines can't reach. Felix could probably rig up something like it for cartography over the weekend.
