I feel like making that one of those workplace acronyms that bosses try to shove on their underlings to motivate them and increase performance.

If possible I'd like to use the "aid another" action to help Dr. Vanderbilt with her science roll to diagnose the disease.

Yeah I was actually thinking we set it up like a team action at one point but forgot entirely. I have a decent science skill, too, so the both of us together could work to prop up the final roll Doctor Vanderbilt comes to.

Remember, you can apply Fate points to modify a roll after the roll has been made. If you successfully guess and tag an Aspect you haven't seen, you can even get the +2 (once) without spending a Fate point.

One +2 added to either Nathan's or Doctor Vanderbilt's roll will make it a successful effort.

Not allowing me to tag my Fortune Roulette aspect for a lucky guess?

You are allowed to, but I thought you wanted the chance to guess at an Aspect for the free tag first. If you can't think of an Aspect to guess, then I'll take your Fate point and you'll succeed...

I was going to make a guess and, if that failed, immediately try and tag my own aspect. I don't mind trying to dig a little deeper but I don't want to hold things up too long. We're on something of a time limit before people start dying.

Alright. What's your guess?

I'm guessing it's poison from the description of the symptoms and general response they gave about suspicions. Beyond that rather general aspect I don't have much more to offer in terms of thoughts.

You're right.

My money was on arsnic, murcury, or lead. Arsnic if it was deliberate.

Not arsenic. Something complex and organic, probably extracted from a local plant or animal.

Our medical bay could remove all the poison from her body right? I figure it's advanced enough to do that much? If they have some manner of magic that could bring her here within a reasonable span of time and we were able to restore enough power to the ship to power the medical bay, could we do something for her at all?

Have Felix roll Engineering and Science rolls, if you have to, to determine if our medical bay is at least capable of offering SOMETHING to them. If their magic could have done something to help her by now they probably would have had it done already.

Not in the hours she has left to live; it would take longer just to get the medical bay operational. But try making the offer in-game.

Alright, I made the offer. Failure isn't an option, unfortunately. Let's make some good rolls, okay?
