OOC: Picking up where we left off.

The man in the box aims a gun at them from his prone spot on the ground. "Blasted poachers! I wont let you hurt the animals!"

OOC: you can repost what was before, or whatever.

Hasoki looks at the man, and cocks his head before uttering, "Mew?"

He then begins to ripple and shift as he changes back to a man. "But I like the animals!"

Richard, for the first time since it happened, is no quite glad that Otter now has his hat. It would have made it a lot harder to hide from the mad... 'thing' with the gun.

Russ blinks as he is called poacher. "Wait, wait, wait, you think we're poachers? We're pirates, not animal killers!" Looking over at Canto, he says, "Our captain can vouch, he's a fisherman and only has interest in creatures of the sea, right Captain Canto?"

Tori pouts, "I'm no poacher but I sure would like to take a sampling of meat back to the ship... I could make a fortune in shinies for a new type of meet!! What'dya say boxy box box?"

Russ's eyes narrow as Tori says this, and he turns to her. "Oi, shortcake, chances are that's not fine by him either."

He then turns to the Box and says, "Forgive shorty back there. She's, well, insane."

Canto is a bit preoccupied with untangling his fishing line. "Erm, yeah, not poachers, just a fisherman and his crew." He somehow manages to get his forearm tied to his hair. "And some new fishing line that's apparently angry at being kept in a pocket for some time."

He finally untangles everything and looks at the box to respond more directly, but stops once he actually sees the man, his mouth hanging open, ready to speak. "Are you. . . some kind of.... boxed son? I know I've heard of parents 'treasuring' their children, but... You gotta be kidding me here."

Tegoro tries once again to keep from laughing and keep hold of Tori.

OOC: Bad pun!

Tori squiggles her way out of Tegoro's grip and pounces Russ, "Who are you calling a pip-squeak which nobody can see unless they use a microscope EEEEHHHH!!!!!"

Russ catches her head, preventing the girl from getting further. "You, Particle Girl."

A large vein pops up on Tori's forehead, "Heh... hehe... it's kinda dark in the forest... We need a torch!!!" She takes out two rocks, one a normal rock and one a flint, "C'mere Bark Boy!! Light my fire!!!" She proceeds to chase Russ with the flint sparking, cackling like... like Tori.

With a swift chop, Russ smacks and shatters one of the rocks, shakes his finger and says, "Now, Now, Tiny Tina. You know what Smokey the Marine says: Only you can prevent forest fires."

Tori grins, "Yea! I'd bet you know that well... your Mother being an Arborphilliac and all! HEE HEEEEE!!!" She takes off and hides behind Tegoro, snickering all the way.

Russ grins. "Well, considering my mother loved gardening and walks in the forest, you could call her an Arborphile. I'm certain she would have thanked you for that... of course, since that was intended as an insult, I'll counter with the old standby, at least my mother could see over tables."

Tori walks out from behind Tegoro, no longer smiling, and walks directly up to Russ and slaps him directly across the face. If he dares block her, she will not hesistate to kick him in the gut. "You crossed the line once, I'll forgive you with that. Cross it again and I really will burn your ass to the ground. Understand me Russ?"
