Sorry about the slow update. The 4th of July weekend sucked up my time, and I'm also preparing for the wedding I'm standing in. I'll play today and tonight, but from the 7th until the 11th I'll probably be MIA. I may check in on Sunday and Monday, so continue to play if you wish.

Also, I'm about to assign your powers. All randomly chosen (except, of course, for Jason, whose power was grandfathered in). Soon, soon. Probably after the wedding.

Oh, I was gone for a bit, but now am back. I was waiting on balthazar, but after reading through the thread again I see that his previous action can be counted toward this turn. So, if it's fine by him, I'll continue the game! Also, expect a PM from me tonight (or, in CCC's case, early morning) regarding your new powers. I have you all assigned, but it will take some time to write out the specifics.

NOTE! If you have questions about your received powers, please address them in the PM! I want to give you the opportunity to keep your actual capabilities under wraps. Also, these are totally random assignments. I created something like ten different powers, then scrambled them up and pulled from a hat, so to speak. If you really, REALLY don't like your power, tell me and we can figure things out from there.

Go for it. If I don't post for awhile, assume that Jason is more or less following along in the spirit of my previous post. Also, feel free to give me a prod if you think I'm holding things up.

Sorry, there was a bit of a lack of clarity in my battle paragragh: Gil is the one causing three of the board Patrol to shoot wildly. He's messing with them with his mind, you see, as he's your Mental Protector. The maroon dock worker is the one who bolted, and got caught in the back by a blast. Sisu killed the Mental Protector of this Board Patrol Unit. Sisu's been shot. He is your Physical Protector. His fate is undetermined.

Suddenly, while running for the disruptor, Cecil remembers EVERYthing; all his past and future lives.

"My God," he says. "In the future/past, I shall go by the name Enver, and be stuck with a quintet of weirdos. What a distracting thought!"

He then shakes his head, realizing that perhaps he should keep his focus on the battle at hand, and goes by Cecil forever more.

I don't suppose Cecil can dump all that confusion on the patrol Patiae... that would really throw them, wouldn't it?

Well, I can see them wondering what the hell is going on with the human who thinks he's any a number of beings in the past and future.

Of course, I assume "Don't die/esplode!" is probably at the forefront of their minds at the moment.
