With her spider out of commission, Ginger circles behind Enver's spider, trying not to attract its attention so that it remains focused on Enver, her lips now framing her clenched teeth in a slight smile of predatory satisfaction. As soon as the moment looks right, she dashes in and attempts to dispatch it the same way as before: lifting it, turning it sigil-side down, and smashing it to the floor.

Even hampered as it was by its missing legs, the spider is still able to move with surprising speed as it moves toward Enver. It would have probably reached him, except Ginger is there to stop it. While she almost gets a good hold on the spider, it wrenches itself away in midair, landing adroitly on the ground. Emboldened by this apparently daring do, the spider goes after Ginger... then promptly trips over one of its' own broken off legs and nearly falls to the floor.

The Kid bends over to touch the spider's sigil, which apparently dies for just a moment... then flares right back to life as the spider (or what's left on it) suddenly rocks violently, very nearly chomping the Kid's hand. It settles back down, the sigil still glowing furiously.

Ginger emits an annoyed grunt at the spider's continued existence. She takes advantage of the its monentary instability to direct a swift kick at it, hoping to send it hurtling into the wall.

Pretty kicks another one IN THE FACE, because that seemed to work last time.

The Lady leans against a wall, huffing, bleeding quite a lot.

"These are helpless, and only destruction of the rune seems to destroy them. Unless the puzzle requires their death, they may be useful."

The kid remains where he is, next to the big man. If any spiders approach them, he will attack, otherwise, he remains next to the legless spiders, studying them.

As Ginger attacks the spider from the front, Enver moves in behind it and attempts to step on it, hoping to hold it immobile with his weight.

The Lady cursed to herself while checking her bleedy, bleedy wound.

Pretty, having thoroughly destroyed his spider, runs over to assist Lady. In an attempt to stop the bleeding, he takes off his shirt, puts it on the wound and applies pressure.

Between several members of the party, the other spider goes down fairly quickly as one of the blows crumples its' sigil, causing the spider to shatter. Aside from random twitches and rocking back and forth from the de-legged spiders who's sigils haven't been broken, the room is quiet. Everyone begins to tend their wounds... yet shortly finds that the wounds have been mostly healed. There's still some pain, and there's definitely some minor scarring, but there's no bleeding.

The obsidian door back out of the room is, however, still shut.

The Lady removed the shirt from her hip and touched the place where her wound was.

"Ouch. But still, not too bad, considering." She handed the shirt to Pretty and blushed. "Ah. Um, thank you. For your quick first aid. I'm, ah, sorry about the shirt."

"Well! Sorry about the spiders." The Lady coughed, looking sheepish. "Anyone want to give the lever another pull? Perhaps the other direction is less fatal."

"Do any of the sigils you see match those on the spiders?"

The kid carefully stepped around the legless spider to examine the lever and block as well.

"No problem," says Pretty, debating over the sanitary issues of putting the shirt back on. I suppose it'll just have to rain abs for the time being.

All of the spiders have (or had) the same sigil. Those sigils don't match any others in the room (i.e, those written on the block).

The Lady sighed.

"Well, I'll pull the lever again if anyone wishes me to."
