I'll not be posting today, I have to participate in a large and violent contest over the fate of an egg-shaped ball.

A reminder to Skitz and Dom: Quote: 1. No 'closed' roleplay. You should never be taking control of what happens to another player or an NPC. Always make sure to leave your action 'open' – that is to say, there's an out for the target. The same goes for your own character. You don't automatically suceed. You don't 'leap over the pit', you 'attempt to leap over the pit'. Your last few posts fall under that category. It should not be 'step up and X happens', it's 'step up and try X, maybe X happens maybe it doesn't'. I'm allowing it in this case because I figured something along these lines were going to happen anyway. --- And welcome CCC. You pick your timing amusingly.

After making my post, I realized that since I don't know where any of the other characters are from, I find it difficult to say that the sound of my character's accent is different. I had a received pronunciation English accent in mind, but that of course assumes that no other characters have one. If that's a problem for you, you can just mentally change it to Scottish or Pakistani or whatever, as it's just a character detail.

Sorry Ruan, Dom and I are used to having a GM arbitrator more often than not.

Brody was in Predators, I believe. I didn't see the movie, but I felt I had to reference the franchise somehow.

That's where I recognize him from. Skitz, s'alright. I'll just keep bugging you about it if I see it happening. It's trickier in a roll-less setting. AT, I'll try to keep that in mind when I hear your character talking. Which probably won't be hard for me, as I tend to think in a British accent anyway... which I've always found strange, considering I'm American.

Hey, AT, I had a similar problem with the whole "accent" thing, and hoped that the general description of my character would help people place her voice. For what it's worth, I immediately thought Irish due to the emerald eyes and the red hair of the girl.
Oh, and. The lady isn't that old, by the way. I'd put her at about 30.

Sorry Ruan, like Skitz said, I'm used to arbitration. I'll try to be better.

Tall Kid's bilingual. I presume there's no autotranslation in this place.

Well, I've got a little bit of back story on my character and it starts something like "Irish parents meet at Oxford and stay there," so your instincts lead you right, weatherwax.
