Oh, we had four oxen to begin with?
I guess that makes sense.

Yeah, I would redo the oxen/cart setup if I could, because I think I made it needlessly complicated, but at this point, we're kinda stuck. One gear cart, one passenger cart, two weak oxen, two zombi oxen, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Feel free to skip to morning, but if your characters have more to do tonight, don't feel pressured to bypass any of it. Just giving options.

As Edward Elric is to his height, Anthony Wilson is to his infamy.

Can you give me an idea of what Anthony's going for, here? Because I want to work with Anthony but I think we're worldbuilding in opposite directions.

Well, Anthony is an escaped slave, so he sees this as an opportunity to abolish the practice. This of course only works if slavery is still around. Is it?
Also, he thought Sael wanted to be left alone, so he's asking for sovereignty. Did they just not want the extra humans?
And lastly, Anthony's ego is making him think he's worth that much.

Ahh, okay, I was misreading some of that. Sorry! Slavery is still around; it's not super common, but it's considered culturally ... normal, I guess, is the word? Sael does want to be left alone and would probably love sovereignty. They will settle for "no humans." Basically, what Anthony's asking for does make sense ... except the part where all he has to bargain with is Anthony Wilson.

Sparrow's mainly waiting to see if Anthony can get the army turned around. If so, his illusion will immediately remove its beard and helmet and claim to be Anthony Wilson in disguise, in order to let the real one go free. (A brief silence spell on Anthony just before he admits to his identity would be useful here). The illusion will immediately begin to negotiate for his own freedom, claiming Wipp's first glass of wine was poisoned, spots before the eyes are a symptom, and offering the antidote in exchange for a twenty-four hour head start.
This will leave Wipp with a target to pursue that will lead him away from Sael, as a bonus.
Those are Sparrow's planned shenanigans...

The woods are fairly thick around this part of the kingdom. The party will have to leave the carts if they go off the road. They can unyoke the oxen and use them as pack animals that way, but it will require one person walking with each ox and leading it, since they've all been trained as cart animals.
Or, of course, everyone can stay on the road and see what's ahead. :)

Or Punchy and Edric could carry all the stuff, and we could leave the carts and oxen behind. Don't worry, though. I'm not planning on bypassing everything you have planned.

Certainly, though there will be limitations on how much they can carry, more due to the size of the items than the weight. (I.e., it's hard to move through dense forest with a giant pack, no matter how strong you are.)
And no worries on skipping or not skipping things. I'm good no matter where you guys go. :)

'Belibus Root' being, of course, a name that Sparrow simply made up on the spot. It sounds like the sort of thing that civilisation would call a root (as opposed to, say, 'the stinky one from that plant with the blue flowers').
