"Let me think," Anthony answers, followed by an immediate, "Sure. So long as there's no... peeping. The bastard's small and the thought of some guy watching... throws me off." The narrator types this as close to the envelope without pushing it.

"Take it as a challenge."

He grins and returns to his room, closing the door quietly behind him. Taddeo speaks quietly to Edric, and Sparrow if he can hear through the jar.

"Anthony is in."

Anthony grabs some water, goes back to the room, finds somewhere comfortable in the pile and sleeps.

It's questionable whether Sparrow can hear anything at all over the continual *cling* *ting* *tong* *tang* of brass against glass. He certainly can't hear anything that Taddeo says quietly.

"You know, Sparrow, I'm simply not going to let you out until you acknowledge that you can hear me. And if you break my jar, I will just take you to Zaljan." Edric is frowning unhappily down at the fairy-in-a-jar. "I've told you repeatedly that I don't want to harm you. You have air, and the jar is big enough that you're not terribly cramped. Why can't you just be patient?"

Sparrow jabs his sword at a point up on the side of the glass and drags it down, diagonally, with a skreeeeeeeeee sound. From Sparrow's viewpoint, the scratch it leaves goes diagonally right through Edric (his left foot, to be exact).

Then he once again attacks the side of the jar, managing after some effort to knock it over onto its side, at which point he tries to roll it under the bed.

Edric picks up the jar, and contemplates casting a spell to turn it into something harder than brass. Realizing he can't do that without canceling the anti-magic on the jar, and not wanting to risk setting the fairy free magically for even a moment, he reconsiders.

"You really aren't making me want to let you out, you know."

Sparrow loses his balance as Edric picks up the jar, only narrowly avoiding his own blade in the process. He stands up carefully, looks at Edric and says ".. .... .... .... .... ... ..... ... .. ... .. ...." while sheathing his sword.

That's odd; the mouth moves, but no sound appears.

"You sure you actually captured him?"

Edric rolls his eyes at the fairy. "There are holes in the lid of the jar, Sparrow. Stop playing games and talk to me." He hopes that the fairy is able to speak without magic or illusion.

He looks up at Taddeo. "Quite sure. I had a true vision spell active at the time that saw through invisibility and illusions. I can't have missed him this time."

".. ... ... ..... .. ... .. ...." says Sparrow in reply.

Being a light sleeper, Greenleaf joined the bucket brigade to do what he could.

After the all the commotion had settled down he returned to the rooms where he comes upon Edric Taddeo and Sparrow.

"I was wondering what became of you. You didn't start the fire this morning did you?" (Greenleaf having been asleep when Zaljan put an end to Sparrow.)

Sparrow shakes his head. "... ... ..... . .. ......... .... ....." he says. The mouth moves, but there's no sound from inside the jar.

In the end, everyone goes back to bed, except Sparrow, of course, confined to his jar.
