In the interest of getting a somewhat diverse group together, you can either already be at the coffeehouse, or arrive from the rain. The coffeehouse is the closest thing to a meeting place for the supernatural community that one can get. Diana would almost certainly know, or know of, Rodrigo, since his family often patronizes her store. Whether or not she knows the rest of you depends on you.

Yay for Dante's Peak references. You forgot "time", though. Coffee Time!
My character will make his entrance soon enough, possibly by his lonesome.

Was wondering if someone would catch that. Not enough space for the full quote in the title. Incidentally, The Book of the Damned is actually an interesting read, if you can get past Fort's verbose and somewhat obtuse writing style. I loved that quote when I first read it, and I've used it as the name of the game since it's inception.

Are you kidding me? Dante's Peak is one of my favorite childhood movies. It's a family favorite. I suppose I should probably get around to reading that book.

Roberto's not blowing Adam off. I'm just giving Jason a chance to respond. That way he isn't perpetually stuck with his mouth half open ready to speak. Sorry!

Don't beat yourself up over it, this gives Adam a chance to be broody and full of angst! Team JRPG go! ftw, y'all. ... I'm such a dork.

I had to fight the temptation for someone to go over to Adam and say 'hey, cheer up emo kid.'
Incidentally, I set the 'hey, it's Jason Bradley!' fan recognization at 3. I rolled their Alertness at 2 (somewhat busy, relatively safe so no need to watch people), and got --_+ for for the roll, so -1 -1 0 +1 for a net -1.

Adam has the Marked by Power aspect. Anyone who is magically inclined should pick up on that right away. He isn't exactly trying to hide it, although your characters may or may not know where he got the mark from.

Hmm... I've never peddled drugs to a dragon before. Or at all for that matter.

Preposing drug deals in a coffee shop and not getting caught? Sweet.

No, I didn't envision my character speaking like this when I created him, but for some reason this manner of speaking is all I can get out of him. It's really creeping me out. What does he sound like to you guys? For some reason it keeps making me think of sword and steel knights of the round type characters from ye olden days.

In case you're wondering, this is giving you guys opportunity to roleplay things out between your characters and establish yourself in the world so you get a feel for what they're like. Things'll start happening soon enough.

Hey Ruan! The wiki article I found stated that the person who founded SCA's name is Diana. Any connection to our bar hostess or purely coincidental?
