Joseph walks into town and hears the news. He barely reacts to it, for he is a tired and broken man. All the death and gore has hardened him, and his emotions have dried up. But he has kept his wits about him. He is deep in thought, furrowing his brows and talking to himself a little.
He waits for everyone else to gather, then announces, "I know who the last wolf is."

Joseph looks solemnly at each remaining villager, one by one. Then he slowly raises his hand with his index finger extended. It rests on Moses.
"Eliana saw things, that we all agree on. She saw Saul as a wolf: he was an innocent man. She was SURE that Adrianna had been revealed to her as a demon: but she was wrong then, also. But yesterday, she claimed Moses to be an innocent man, according to what she saw in her visions. But hear me: Her visions are backwards! Those she sees as wolves are villagers, and those seen as innocents are wolves! Thus, I will make my vote: Moses, as should all of you."

But the friar saw Moses as an innocent man! He too had visions, and his seemed to be right.
Eliana's visions were wrong, yes, but I doubt they were always wrong.
I'm more suspicious of Alexander, myself.

Alexander quietly takes in the conversation. Seated on a wooden bench, he rocks slowly back and forth, hands folded over the top of his cane, forehead pressed against them, deep in thought.
"There can be no proof except in death" Alexander finally repeats himself "but I have good reason to suspect both of you. Which of you is the demon, I am not sure."
