As a beginning Librarian, will i have restricted powers?

and what equipment can i choose from?
(i'm really liking the looks of a Master-crafted force weapon...)

Master-crafted? On a low level librarian? You insane?!?

You'll have a force weapon (staff, hammer, axe, sword, etc) And any one of the following

Bolt pistol(Ranged offence), Storm shield(defence), power fist(Mighty melee).

Your powers are limited to sensing, emperor's wrath (the lightning psyk atttack) and shielding. You have a limit of 10 psy points per mission.

Sensing doesn't cost any points, but while your using it, you can't use any other abilities or attacks using force, and your normal attacks will be disadvantaged.

Emperor's wrath is same in power to a power glove to the face, its short range (within 10"), only affects a single target, and costs 3 points.

Shielding erects a wall of... resistance around something, that slows or stops anything trying to breach it, the amount of points affects the size, strength and duration of the shield after you've stopped concentrating.

(so, to block a door with the same force as a steel door, 7 points. to cover a marine's front with a shield the force of a storm shield, 3 points.)

I'm a librarian. To mess with the warp, i have to be at least a bit insane...

Ok, Brother-Librarian Icarus will be equipped with a force sword, and a storm shield.

How many psy pionts does activating the force weapons latent power use?

Storm shield is still a variable, if you want to convince me otherwise, you are very happy to try

Force weapons, without spending points, act as a power weapon. You can spend points to boost its power.

Sounds good. About the Emperor's wrath, i'm assuming you ment ten feet, not inches, and, unless you have something else to tell me, i'm ready to go.
