Sorry in advance if this isn't OK to post here, but I figured that, even if this board's a little dead, some of you guys may still be around!
Anyways, I'm in a group doing a Mass Effect forum RPG elsewhere-same general style as anything here (We've got two people doing GM duties where needed, but still), and we could use a few extra bodies filling up the ship.
Right now, we've got three human fighty-type characters, a human hacker/techie, an Asari consort, a Quarian engineer (Me) and a Drell medic/biotic. Pilot and combat characters would be most appreciated, but everybody's welcome.
If you're interested, shoot me a PM and I'll give you more details. The site's a little private since we've had some problems in the past with semi-disgruntled former players-and our group may have kinda accidentally caused the collapse of an (Honestly pretty silly and doomed already) forum, but that's beside the point. tl;dr, group of awesome people looking for some more awesome people (I distinctly remember a bunch of you around here) to pretend to be aliens (Or future humans, whatever) on the internet.

After absurdly many years, it occurred to me that the game threads from before the great purge of December, 2004 might well be on the Wayback machine (the Internet Archive). Wouldn't you know, a lot of them are.

Really? That's cool. I never had much luck finding threads on the way back machine. But the RPG forums were definitely less volatile than the other forums back then.
