Ok, so, I have a Longing for an old fashioned, text based RPG. And I’ld like to join upo… Where do I go? How do I play? Where can I get a 30ft Bishi Mech? Having never, ever, posted here, I am obviously new to this far part of the forum, But I should like to explore a more organized type of RP’ing, Advice?

Hrmm... I don't know the status of the games right now, and am hardly a GRPG GM, as my only game is running in FRPG (but has been for a while). I suggest trying your hand in one of the more serious rpgs in FRPG first, before stepping up into the big leagues.

Find a game that is starting, or that is listed as OPEN in the status board, and PM the GM. See what kind of setting and characters are involved, toy with an idea. If all else fails find a modern-day based game and RP yourself.

For example, I have (in two cases) been known to role play a 19 year old male named Joe Flanagan, who is coincidently six feet seven inches tall, and an Eagle scout. I happen to find Joe very easy to Role Play.

if interested in joining a game that, while fun, runs in the D20 system, my Mutants and Masterminds game in FRPG could use a character or two. if interested, pm me, or aim me. A fun game where your charcter is a comic book type superhero.
