Announcement: The GM has an important rugby match in Pennsylvania on Saturday, and is gonna head up there Friday after work. Won't be back till Sunday, probably. I'll post from work tomorrow.
To the dead guys: sorry, but from the outset I had planned on this game being deadly to PCs. It's the apocalypse. No, I didn't tell you it was until the game had begun. Only kind of sorry about that.
After things settle down (roundabouts Day Five of the Cataclysm, lord knows how long that will take) there will be time/opportunity to introduce more PCs. You will be more than welcome.

CCC and Warbeard bit it, huh? That sucks. Lita is lucky Triss is looking out for her or she might already be dead. I had her planned out to be the team's resident chick/cloud cuckoo lander from the very beginning. To say she couldn't handle things on her own is something of an understatement.

Now that Cecil is dead; I did kind of have a vague plan for him, once I knew what sort of game it would be. My thought was, at some time he'd lose consciousness; either falling asleep or, more likely, knocked out. As soon as he woke up, I was going to have him insist that he could hear all his AIs talking to him. From which point onwards, he'd basically restrict himself to doing whatever the voices in his head tell him to. (I also intended to have said voices in his head be far more sensible than he would be). Since he's dead, that's evidently not going to happen. I'll see if I can think up a new character by roundabout day 5.

By then the surviving PCs circumstances will be much changed, so wait a while first.
Crazy and halucinating would have been bad when actual mind controling supernatural creatures start invading our dimension.

I kinda figured that would be the outcome. Still, I couldn't see Alex just abandoning Cecil without at least making some effort to help.

I was trying to fire at the beastie whilst leaning out from the door, with the pistol braced on the roof of the van, but apparently that didn't work out as I had planed.

I'm working under the assumption that Lita thinks she's playing a particularly realistic video game, so any lack of survival instinct on her part would be mostly due to the fact that she can always reload from save.
