So, it transpires that I will soon have a relative visiting the good ol' US of A who will have access to a postal address, so naturally the first thing I thought was "GET ME MORE SLUGGY BOOKS!" buuuuuuut...

What's the deal with Book 9? Not on IndyPlanet, or anywhere else? What's an obsessive completionist supposed to do with that??

My understanding is that Pete has a huge backlog of physical copies, so no Indy Planet until that's exhausted.

Yeah, we're still waiting. Hopefully, someday. The sooner the better of course.

Which means that the book is available on the Sluggy store when the stars align and it opens for holidays, right?

Thanks all, that makes sense, and now I actually think I remember reading about it at the time.

I placed an order for a few books via IndyPlanet as my sister's at the House of Mouse on holiday and... how long do they take to ship?? Getting a bit worried they're not going to make it, and it seems like it's impossible to actually speak to anyone there

Answering my own question:
6 Nov - placed order, status "Processing"
11 Nov - status updated to "Printed"
15 Nov - posted (according to USPS postage label)
16 Nov - status updated to "Completed"
17 Nov - received

So for anyone else who wants to cart some books overseas via a helpful "going-to-be-there-anyway" friend/relative, you probably want to order it at least a week before they go.

Also it is impossible to speak to anyone at Indyplanet.

So, the store is open, Book 9 is in stock and.....

$47 shipping?!

:sam: :oasis: :bunbun:

Gonna take a look at package forwarding companies. I think I can get it down under $50 delivered that way.
