Okay, let's try this.

My last subscription as a DotN expired 8/5/06; it would have been nice had I been notified of the impending expiration (can you say EMAIL? Just asking... :kiki: )

BUT when I attempted to read the blog around 8/17 I found I'd expired; no problem, I immediately went to PayPal and renewed.

Or so I though.

For some reason PayPal decided "eCheck" rather than instant payment was in order, so the payment did not "clear" until 8/22; okay (again) no problem, I'll be patient.

Well, it is now 8/29 and while the payment has been cleared for over a week and you HAVE MY MONEY :bunbun: I am still locked out with an expired account.

I even emailed via the site support connection, no reply (10 days ago.)

If subscriptions to DotN are no longer being renewed, for whatever reason, whatever... but $25.00 is a chunk o' change for me, and I'd appreciate either having my account reactivated immediately or a rapid refund.

Needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed in the response; when one pays money to support something one is rather fond of, it's a KICK IN THE TEETH :oasis: to get neither expected result nor explanation.

Maybe someone could bring Thyla back - at least I got replies to questions when she was running the back office.

I apologise on the behalf of everyone.

The person who used to deal with DefNif has discontinued their involvement with Sluggy, however, email should have been forwarded.

We are looking into the problem and will get back to you ASAP.

I also apologize for the lack of response to your problem -- everything had been handed off to someone else, and when that person left, Pete and I (and the moderators here) didn't realize that nothing was being forwarded to us.

I'll check into your account right away. You can also e-mail me directly at [email protected] if you have problems (until we make sure the forwarding works, etc.).
