(I posted this in Sluggy-Related Chat by mistake, then realised it belongs here)

I've been having this problem since early October now- the Sluggy site won't load properly, and sometimes not at all. What's going on?

The strips either don't load or only a really small portion of them loads, like the top half of the first few panels. Refreshing it can sometimes change the amount of strip that loads, but it hardly ever fully loads.

The site itself only partially loads: like, right now I can see the background, the site logo, and the Home and Buy Stuff tabs, and that's it. I refresh and I get all the tabs, the ads, a small part of the strip but none of the messages Pete & Thyla put under the strip. All that's shown up is a grey bar with <img border="0" src="h in it.

I don't know why it's not working. I'm not having this problem on any other sites, just Sluggy. :(

I do not know how to stop this.

Well, this thread was months old, so it's unlikely the OP will see it, but since it's been revived by a useless post, I suppose I'll suggest what jumps to mind.

Could be the OP's maxMTU is set wrong. I had it set wrong on my router once (1500 instead of 1492), and it only affected certain sites, not others. DSLreports/BroadbandReports has more information on troubleshooting this.
