Well I don't know if this belongs in general chat or here so I put it here(mods move it if you want). I have this strange problem with my computer, where for some reason my flash player won't work. I have already checked to make sure it didn't have a virus or spyware and that wasn't the case. I downloaded a newer flashplayer, but my computer wouldn't install it so I think that some glitch is keeping my flash from working. Any ideas?(I am using a windows XP OS if that matters).

Actually...do you have Administrator priveleges on the account you're using?

Without them, you can't install anything on Windows XP.

No, but at least that explains why it wouldn't install the new version. I was begining to think that someone had tailored a virus that would slip under virus scans, and disable my flash player so I couldn't watch pointless cartoons on the internet.

A terrible virus that would be ;)
