It is one of the things Pete really wants back. I'm fairly sure he mentioned that he was poking rit with a pointy stick.

He mentioned it in the defenders update recently. I should have mentioned that.

To be honest, I didn't even know that weekly mode existed until people started complaining on here that it didn't exist.

I'm sure it makes archive trawls a lot easier though.

I trudged through 80% of archives before I realised there was a weekly view mode. The last 20% was blissfully easy in comparison.
Still, being an Aussie, my internet is pitiful and will most likely become worse.

You kidding? I live an hour and a half from the nations capitol and the only internet I have access to is dialup or satellite.

Pathetic. Anywho, I never realized that there was a weekly view. It would sure make archive trawling lots easier. So please excuse me while I curse my stupidity.

I actually banged together a ghetto weekly view using Greasemonkey. It simply fetches a full week's worth of comics via AJAX and plunks them into the comic content area. I would post it here, but I'd want someone at Sluggy Central to give their okay before I distribute it, since each time it pulls down a week it makes seven hits against sluggy.com instead of just one as a server-side weekly view would do. Of course, any JavaScript hackers out there could do the same... *whistles innocently* EDIT: It occurs to me that my AJAX weekly view is no worse in terms of server traffic than the way it is now for someone going through the archives, so unless rit or someone else at Sluggy Central objects, I'll post my script when it's been polished a bit more.

As long as it is still showing the ads, I don't think that it would be a problem.
