Here's an odd problem. Sometimes, I'll read a post, but the forum won't mark it read; its icon will stay blue and I'll have to manually click on 'mark all posts read' in order to clear it. I don't think it's my cookies; I haven't changed those lately, and it only happens with some posts, not all of them.

Huh. It seems to have stopped. Never mind.

It's happening again. The desktop thread, in GC.

When it happened to me, it was because I had blocked some cookies. You might check your preferences and see if you have any Sluggy.net cookies blocked.

Happens to me alot, it's not a cookie problem.
My problem is most likely different to yours, all I do is refresh to page once or twice to clear it.

hi,
Instead of pressing the back button to leave a thread, try useing the directory links above and below the forum your browsing
eg "The Sluggite Zone Forum Index -> Suggestions and Comments" links (next to the post button)

I found that constantley useing the back button generates the error(s) you described (On all the four browers that i use: IE, Firefox, Aweb PPC & Netscape)

Wizz.

I have sluggy cookies enabled, and it happens even when I use the directory links. Refreshing doesn't seem to help, either.

Now that I think about it, though, it might be a problem with my computer, rather than the forums. Whatever it is, it's annoying.
