I'm just realizing the implications of the last panel: Troloria is a puppet, and the real entity they were talking with is actually the dress she is wearing. Whoever agreed to be the muse would replace Troloria.

But if it hops bodies what's the difference?) I guess that explains why becoming the Muse of Troloria would mean leaving all your friends behind.

It does sorta look like "Troloria" is just a meat-puppet, and the cloud-o-animae is the puppetmaster.
I wonder what her/its/their agenda really was?
I wonder if we'll find out?
