http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2001-05-19Oh Snap, its the great EEOH of the Sea. He has come to synergize Gwynn's econotric growth! Her only hope is to pull on his supply chain to rip out his discontent heart. It is kinda cool how the Ployees look a bit like the (current) elderly leader.

Wow! Intense! That is a compelling reason!
I'm with Torg, I can't quite see what she sees in the leader's anima that is particularly different than the others. I don't know that we've heads any of them talk, but Gwynn has been communicating with them, so they must speak.

The only thing I can see with the leader's anima, is that it's very similar in shape to Gwynn's anima. Which might mean why Gwynn is getting along with the Others so well.

Zoe could be referring to either one.

Is that Bun Bun girl who's going down with the ship? Guess it's safe to say the Anima's form doesn't give you that much insight into their personality. Bun Bun never would've gone out like a chump to no sea monster.

Finding it really hard to understand that last panel. Is it a rock monster? A sea creature? It's too tiny to be that chaotic.
Also, yikes! Maybe their fear wasn't totally directed at the group after all.

I thought the leader's anima looked a bit like kiki. Cute and innocent (albeit with suspicious eyes). I wonder if she can suppress her anima's appearance to non-jedi's.
Anyway. I assumed the muscle was just for hunting, but I guess that's not the case. GO GET THAT KRAKEN/EEOH! EARN YOUR KEEP!

Yeah, I don't get what Zoe sees / doesn't see in Leader's anima. Looks normal anima-ish to me, and apparently to Torg.
I'm also wondering how Gwynn can suddenly talk to the natives so well. "You're on the 3rd boat" could be conveyed with grunt-and-sign, but concepts like "Come visit for a week or so" and "this large grumpy gentleman is my bodyguard" are trickier.
It does kinda look like Bun-Bun Girl in the prow of the boat. I assumed Leader would get introduced as a nifty adorable character and then immediately get fed to the Eeyoh...

Maybe it is something Zoe can see that neither we nor Torg can see.
