After nearly thirteen months, or to be more accurate, 55 Wednesdays have passed, the chapter number is going to increase by one unit of measure. ARe yOu Not eXciteD! ----- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote everyday!

WTF is the two-headed Aylee like thing that's definitely not Aylee, because the gang left her behind AGAIN!

Considering the text at the top of the comic, I'd say that's a representation of Torgs soul. Dr Daiyu has something like it too, though it looks different This of course raises more questions than it answers. Why does Torg's have 2 heads and where is Zoe's, to start.

Remember the whole thing when magic considered Zoe dead, but technology considered her alive, and regenerated her? And then Riff 'cured' her from braindead-ness by snapshotting her past self and reconstructing body with nanites?

Hmm...Sun is out but the sky is black. Have they found themselves in one of those dark stages of Super Mario bros?

So much spec in one comic.
For once, it feels like the previous plot arc was properly "wrapped up" before we moved on to the next; I'm looking forward to this context switch before we jump back into things.
It will also be interesting to see Gwynn, and if her existence-ending passenger transcends dimensions. I think yes, but it's hard to say, and I could see it going either way. We still don't have a clear definition on if Timeless Space is a "single instance" or a separate one around each reality, and I feel like given what we know that's going to be somehow related to the delineation on his nature.

These comics are probably relevant: http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2003-04-21http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2003-05-29Those comics were BEFORE 4U city though I think. Looking more and more like I need to reread the archive

"A break from violence and murder" "I have stabbed a large bird to death"
And then a reminder, without death no one eats.
What an auspicious beginning to their stay in this dimension. What could possibly go wrong?
