Finally caught up, and the November 15th strip is a near-perfect place to land. Tied up some seriously long threads there. Been hoping for a chance at redemption for Sasha and Kusari for a while now. Looks like I might get my wish, though it does appear that it will be more complicated than expected.

Welcome to the forum Dallas!
So, you're all caught up you say? MWAHAHAHAHA! Let the tortuous wait begin!
As for the Kusaris... Well, Pete tends not to take the simple route with many things in this comic.
Anyway [member's name here], now I will tell you about the strange tradition aimed at newcomers.
At one time there were Pesterers who pestered you for poetry, but that tends to be very rare nowadays. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do go and post an original poem --usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted-- written by you, you will most likely receive a gift in return. The "gift" will most likely be useless or maim you. Whichever it may be, it should be interesting and surprising. Lastly, this strange tradition applies to the pestering not the poetry. You are not required to do anything more to be a member here...unless you want to possibly get a [name of harmlessly fatal item here] or some other type of gift.
Now go forth and do (almost) whatever you want, just don't speculate in Reactions.

Apparently this post has over 1000 views? I guess someone REALLY WANTED to be pestered.
So hey! Welcome. I will be your pesterer, and harshest judge. My feedback will be overly critical, but it will be fair and constructive. I will meld you into a powerful Sluget (sluggy+poet).
For instance, if you use a term like Sluget, I will praise your attempt at creativity, but ultimately smack you down for a stupid amalgamation that will never catch on. While rooting for your success that it becomes the new fetch, (ala mean girls).
Commence at your leisure!
