People proclaim that Friday the 13th is a spooky day, but I have to say that Friday the 19th is spookier. Why might you ask? ... No, really, why would you? It's obvious to anyone who is capable of rubbing two brain dead zombies together. It's the spookiest! Yup, that's all there is. Deal with it. ---- Vote for Spooky Freelance at Top Web Comics. "But why couldn't they just make a hole, the way the Kusaris got in?"
Ah, they are. Good form, chaps! Now here's hoping they have a way to keep themselves from being sucked endlessly into space.

The Kusaris managed to get IN to the station through their hole, so I'm assuming they had some way of controlling / sealing it.

Wow, Torg is fierce right here! Understandably, though, in the circumstances.

I wonder if that last panel was directed at us, or if they were planned punchlines. Could go either way. Lol

I thought Torg fired through the station two days (our time) ago. I asked why Sasha wasn't in a spacesuit or worried about the oxygen.

I believe someone answered suggesting that pik-pellet holes are small enough that even if they did penetrate all the way through the outer hull (which apparently they did not), the station's considerable size (compared to, say, the Mater-5) would've prevented immediate danger. Alternatively, Kusari knew that Torg wouldn't actually have been able to breach the hull from his position and was just being overly-literal. Or trolling him. Now, of course, the plan is to cut a person-sized (at least) hole directly through the outer hull. So, yeah, survival instinct is kicking in.

That was me. And if you look carefully in today's strip, you can see that the compartment Torg and company are standing in has become somewhat more windy. Look at Ninja Sasha's hair and the debris zooming around. Torg definitely breached the hull, trouble is, the DFA is too far away for him to have anything but a fool's hope of hitting it without being able to see it, thus, he needs to make an exit, which would cause somewhat more immediate trouble for anyone in that section of the station not wearing a pressure suit.

Right, it's clear he's made some holes, though small. You'd think he could try to sight through his pik-holes while the Kusasha cuts a bigger hole...

Something tells me the AI isn't going to just sit there and let them rip up the station and fire on the DFA.
