Wednesday slowly puts on its tinfoil hat while suspiciously staring at VcSaJen... ---- Vote for Sluggy Freelance at Top Web Comics. Remember to vote every day before the men in black come for you.

Pretty sure this is supposed to be Strip for September 12, not 10.

Stare suspiciously at the lack of comments.
I'm kind of happy Kusari didn't kill Oasis. I'm not sure if it's because of being related or the fact Torg would dislike it if she killed her. If Torg is unhappy with her, chances are Riff would be too.

Kursari is letting her one emotion get the better of her. Sotanaht wrote: Pretty sure this is supposed to be Strip for September 12, not 10. That's what THEY want you to think. Rasei wrote: Stare suspiciously at the lack of comments. *warily glances about* Very...

This was unexpected, I thought someone would stop Kusashi. But I'm glad it happened. And Kusashi doesn't have anything else to do anyway. She has no husband, no children, no home, no job. To defeat Oasis is the only thing she has.

And if Kusari could improve herself based on Oasis's technology, that could be a better proof that she's better than Oasis.
(Let's be honest, the ability to fire targeted heat rays from space seems pretty nifty. Maybe Kusari might want to turn the "Scorch" beam into a "Zappo!" beam as well. Would make for a more efficient assassin, and clearly better than Oasis.)

She MIGHT possibly be having second thoughts...but I think it's more that she wants the fight to have more meaning, and this will have no meaning...won't prove anything. She wants Oasis to be functioning. Will Oasis fight back? Again? Or can they be done with this?

Right! it would just be another death like any other. There has to be a battle. There has to be something at stake.
