I understand the conundrum, it's hard to give up money, but I think Pete came down on the right side. You don't want people to have a negative experience with what you create just for the money. Since mobile is the way many people are going, you'd be losing new readers too. Yesterday, I told my dad he had to get back into sluggy, and starting with the 4U City/Minion Master arcs would be a great place. Then I had to tell him to make sure he read them on his computer, not mobile becuase of the ads

I'm lucky to have the ability to be a Defender, but I think having a lower tier for just ad-free is a good idea. There are many people who've said they wished they could pay a little bit.

I was sad about recently having to drop down to a lower-cost defender tier because of money reasons but it's nice that Pete is helping protect us from malware. There are several sites I've had to stop visiting because the intrusive ads (even on desktop computers) have done so much damage to my machine. And they're legitimate sites too, like Ask A Manager.com (job advice). Good luck, Pete!

Went through a lot of effort to recreate the bane of the internet, huh?

(okay, fine, there are many simple'ish ways to recreate it)

If I blink in time with your pseudo-blinks, I can pretend I didn't just die a little on the inside after seeing them.

I think these are on level with telemarketers and need to be addressed as such. :bunbun:

So, is Pete aware that the Sluggy 20+ Support Thread already has a deep and throughout collection of everything bonker with the archive?

Re: Write Big or Go Home

Pete, beat yourself up if you really feel the need, but we don't think you need it. We've told you lots of times: quality over quantity. If it takes another day to do it right, take another day. Once you release it, it'll be out there forever. Do it right.

Re: Selfie Sticks

Yeah, they’re out. EXCEPT if you have a 360 camera. Then it’s practically required. :kiki:

You can still be cool, Kiki! You just need to upgrade!

You're doing great, Pete! Understandable to feel pressure from yourself, but you want it to be great, we'll wait!

Feel free to give us random Kiki escapades whenever!

Screw the space station for a week.
I’d rather see adventures in Kiki Land for a week now.

Dear Pete,

My condolences. Work on the strip only when it makes you fell better. If there is anyway we can help you, just say it.

Daniel
