I got my copy of Aylee! It's such a different experience reading it in book form.
I'm about halfway though. So much originated in that storyline. Aylee's current form, our acquaintance with Rammer, the inflatobikes etc.

I do find that reading the strips with color makes me miss Sluggy in color though.

Yup, it's great. These books are a joy to read.

Bonus story spoilers:

She does tend to change with near-death experiences, and you can certainly count being stabbed and then dropped out of the sky as that.

On the other hand, she hasn't changed since her encounter with the alt-Aylee dude. It's possible that change was somewhat more fundamental.
